History of the Friends of the Montana Constitution

The Friends of the Montana Constitution was created as a successor to the Montana Constitution Society, which consisted solely of the delegates to the 1972 Constitutional Convention. As the membership of the Society dwindled (only eight of the 100 delegates are still living and are widely dispersed), the group approved and supported the creation of Friends of the Montana Constitution, after the 50th Anniversay Celebration of the 1972 ConCon.
